I found the bus on its side at a local auto grave yard nothing but a shell in 1990, I took It home for $25.00 bucks. I spent alot of time and money on it. My ex-wife was not into the V.W. life stile. The bus sat for 8 years in the garage until I met my COOL wife and she encouraged me to fix it up and have some fun w/ it. It won 1st place in under construction at the Madera 2004 show and get this on a dare I enterd a hot road show at Fig garden classic it took 1st peoples choic. I know our bus will not be a best of show winng bus but its a big part of our life. Their is noting COOLER than my 4 year old tryin to tune the bus. I recently put white walls and got a tent for it.
