This 1954 Beetle has been sitting in the rafters of Panchos Surf Shop in Pismo Beach for the last 14 years. Pancho finally decided to take it down and put her back on the road. We were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and we picked it up for our Benefit Raffle Car.
We made the trip home without any problems. Now we have to make a list of small items to take care of before the car makes its debut at our show.

Very clean 1954 Canadian Standard
Not very many of these around.
Some upgrades from the usual standard features. The Batwing steering wheel is one. Some of he knobs were painted ivory and are correct black underneath.
The unique standard headliner is very cool. The look is really clean around the windows and doors.
This is the tag put on in Canada. It replaces the tag behind the spare tire.

Raffle Car goes to The Classic. We made a trip with the car to the worlds largest VW show so everyone could see what a cool car this is.
Ticket frenzy at The Classic!
We take the raffle car on a 250 mile shakedown cruise to the German Dreams car show in Bakersfield. On the way we make a stop at the James Dean memorial.
